Give the Gift of History

In addition to memberships, we offer other giving opportunities for you to help keep the gates open. You may give the gift of history by putting your loved one's name on either a spindle, a bench, a column, a new tree, or an existing tree on the Daly Mansion grounds. It is a wonderful way to honor a couple on an anniversary, your parents or grandparents on their birthdays, or as a monument to someone departed.

The Daly Mansion is surrounded by beautiful verandas, each with lovely railings and lathed spindles. At the base of each spindle is a spot perfect for plaques honoring someone special. Plaques also can be placed on our peaceful benches that line the footpaths. For greater recognition there are the arbor columns where brass plaques can be placed. A premier location for a plaque would be on one of the many columns around the Mansion.

If you have a particular love for the grounds, we have adoption options for the trees. With each adoption comes a plaque of recognition for whomever you choose. You can choose either a new tree or an existing tree, some of which date back to the 1890's.
