Restorations

Renovations to the Mansion have finally commenced! Over the past three years, our primary focus has been on raising funds to restore this grand, old home. With a large portion of the financial goals achieved, we have finally been able to begin restoration. We have installed a new heating system and completed the first phase of upgrading our archaic electric system. Phase two of the renovations began in June 2005 and is scheduled to be completed by November 2005. During this phase, restoration of the first floor will commence with some of the following items:

• Plaster repair: all ceilings including Celtic molding in the living room costing $187,200
• Floor refinishing: all quarter sawn oak parquet floors refinished costing $17,950
• Wall covering repairs: special-ordered replicas of wall coverings from England costing $73,746
• Elevator: an elevator will be installed accessing all four levels of the house costing $95,500
