There are over 300 trees on the property the Mansion sits on. Most of the trees were imported from different areas of the United States and Europe with some thought to be over 100 years old. Those that could withstand our climate thrived making the grounds a wonderful shady place to hold weddings, receptions, company picnics and many other events. To the North of this area sits the once heated Green House where vegetables and flowers were started for the many gardens that surrounded the Mansion.
