The Daly Mansion Invites you…
After a five-year hiatus, the historic Daly Mansion is thrilled to announce the return of the Haunted Hayride event, scheduled for October 24th and 25th. It is our goal to feature the creativity of the community and would like to invite your business or group to be part of the magic.
This year’s theme is “Gothic Literature”, and we’re seeking imaginative groups to help bring classic tales to life. We would like to present ten chill-inducing vignettes, each inspired by iconic works such as Dracula, Frankenstein, and the eerie tales of Edgar Allan Poe. These scenes will be staged throughout the historic Mansion grounds, offering a spine-tingling experience for guests of all ages.
We would be honored to collaborate with your group/business on one of these vignettes. Your group will choose a Gothic literary piece to present utilizing acting, setup, costuming and storytelling. We can also provide actors for the event if needed. All groups will be recognized in event materials and will be eligible for our new “Best Scene” Award, voted on by guests and announced at the end of the event.
Whether your group/business has seasoned performers or imaginative artists, this is a unique opportunity to engage with literature, history, and community in a truly memorable way.
